ABSTRACT
This project aims to develop a desktop implementation of a student admission system that will automatically admit candidates after they have submitted the required data (GCE O/L results, GCE A/L results and other information like names, date of birth, etc.), and for each applicant, three preferred programs of study.
The system secures the information by only allowing authenticated admins to login and register candidates. The admins would also be able to download the admission list from their dashboard.
This system has pre-set criteria for various programs available for candidates, so when the clerk / admin registers candidates or key in their data, the system automatically selects who is admitted or not based on these criteria and adds the admitted candidates to the admission list.
This automated and secured admission system reduces workload for the administrators and makes the admission process more efficient in terms of time and resources required while ensuring the safety of student information through role-based access permissions.
