INTERNSHIP CARRIED OUT IN CARITAS ORGANIZATION

ABSTRACT

This internship is about how I carried out my internship in caritas organization. The background of the organization and the aim of the objective of the organization. It is also about the activities that were carried out in the organization, the possible solution provided with the conclusion and recommendation.

CHAPTER ONE
1.1 Background of the study
Caritas organization started on August 22, 2013. It is for the promotion of charity good works following the teachings of the church. Some of these good works are;
– feeding the hungry
– giving drinks to the thirsty
– clothing the naked
– visiting the sick
– counseling the doubtful
– instructing the ignorant
-comforting the afflicted
Caritas is a humanitarian organization that provide for the needy. The organization was founded by Bishop Emmanuel Bushu since August 22nd 2022 following the laws of the church which was continued by the director Mr. Pierre Ernest Tchinda. Caritas also offers services such as Sustainable Agriculture, Justice and Peace, Economy of communion, Health, Micro finance. All these are services through which they do charity to everyone. Since August 22, 2013 Caritas have services of the Diocese of Buea following the laws of the church. Cannon 308-3012,343-394.
The church is continuing the works of Jesus on earth and has obligation to express justice to all, everyone in all its action and to promote in its sphere of influence the church proclaims Jesus the redeemer.

1.2 Organigram of the institution
The function of the head of finance is to supervise activities of finance, accounting function prepare the budget and monitor any deviation and also manage the treasury.
Head of accountancy
This involve accountant framework for carrying out accounting. It requires experience.
Head of human resource. this involve methodologies tools, research related to human resource management, analyses of fundamental aspect.
Desk officer; the desk officer maintains and update membership, database system regularly and address customer complaint. He also performs duties instructed by the administrator.
The director and the bishop are at the top there perform administrative function such as offering training and also strengthen public service function.
